June 19-25
We had some fun cultural experiences while visiting - making
chipa and pulling up mandioca.
We
were invited to a karu guazu (big feast) given on the 9th day of
someone’s death.
Nine stairs and nine candles
Sunday we had a big church service with groups from three
other towns participating. Ladies of the church cooked lunch for everyone. Then here was youth group at 2 and Bible
study at our house at 6.
The weather has been beautiful.

Ginny has started counting down the days Ryan has left by giving him one of his favorite treats each day with a note of encouragement from us. She is so sweet and thoughtful.
Tyler has settled on a hairstyle after months of playing around.
