On another field trip, I took team mates to my friend, Na Maxi’s house to make chipa. Chipa is a Paraguayan traditional bread made with starch, eggs, Paraguayan cheese, milk and anis. It has a crunchy crust and a soft middle. It tastes best fresh from the oven or tatakua.
All
the ingredients are mixed together until it resembles the consistency of playdough.
