PUMPKIN BELLY

October 23, 2014

30 weeks and feeling good…just feeling big.
Feeling baby move all the time, this little one is quite active
Sometimes the suspense of not knowing if it’s a boy or girl drives me crazy
We have a girl’s name….but it’s a secret…not even the kids know
Absolutely no boys names…yet
Due date: January 1st

Ginny took these fun pictures.

PUMPKINS

While Grandpa took the boys to a UMHB football game, the little ones experienced their first pumpkin patch with Grandma, Ginny and myself.

Of course, the goats were the best attraction.

Making pumpkin bread from all the pumpkins we picked.

Creative Ginny

Ginny, who will be 13 years old mid-December has been enjoying taking art classes.

In July she took a class on oil pastels.  This is her work:
In September she took 3 classes in water color.  This was her masterpiece:
In October she did this sketch of her goat, Gypsie:

She also has been enjoying honing her photography skills.  Jeff surprised me by buying me a new camera which I absolutely love!  Ginny has now completely taken over my older camera.

HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY, TYLER

October 10, 2014
Tyler asked to carve pumpkins for his birthday.
Then we had a nice grilled dinner (Tyler’s request) with family.  It’s been nice to have aunts and uncles, Grandpas and Grandmas around to help us celebrate birthdays.

On 10-10 Tyler turned 10 making him my 4th to hit double digits!

TEXAS STATE FAIR

October 6-7, 2014
We had one full day at home from our 5 week trip when we loaded back up in the van and headed to Texas State Fair in Dallas as a birthday fun day for Tyler.  We met up with my family there.

This is BIG TEX and he is really really big.

 Fun rides

Impossible games

Tons of food and more fried foods than should ever be allowed in one place

Fun displays and entertainment including a fireworks/light show in the evening

On our way out at closing time we stopped at the petting zoo.  We had to pry Ginny from the goat pin when it came time to leave – she really misses her goats back in Paraguay.
