At 12:00 we caught a ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria Island, B.C. Once in Canada we met up with one of our former TIME interns. She took us to Butchardt Garden (where she works). That evening we ate dinner at her house and met her parents and sisters. After dinner we set up out tent at Goldstream Campground in a beautiful wooded area. It was a record camp set up – just 30 minutes! We were all ready for bed at 10:00, just after the sun went down (isn’t that so late!).
