CLAIRE's FIRST WEEK

We are thankful to have Claire Joy here!

 Julia and Josiah have been so curious about her, wanting to hold her and help in any way they can.

Claire's first week

Claire found herself in the arms to someone all the time.

 My family who had been with us since Christmas Eve had to go back to Abilene.

Grandma multi-tasking.

How wonderful it has been to be able to share newborn Claire with both sets of grandparents.

 My best friend, Naomi and her 2 girls came up from Denison to visit and meet Claire.  We have been blessed by those who have stopped by to see Claire, brought us meals, given gifts, and written sweet notes.

We have been blessed by the many baby items friends have loaned us.  Look at this beautiful cradle from a mutual friend.  Jeff’s mom made the beautiful blanket in the cradle.

Monday, January 5^th

1 week old

Weight: 6lbs, 8 oz (same as at birth)

First outing

Going to the County Courthouse to register Claire’s home birth.
