HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY MICAH!
September 29, 2009
We were in DC for Micah’s birthday and I really wasn’t sure how we were going to celebrate. Before we began doing touristy things, he opened gifts and cards. That evening we went out to eat with some friends of my family, the Holts (when my dad was working out of DC this family hosted him for weeks at a time). I hadn’t seen for 20 or more years! It was the sweetest time. This couple showered us with encouragement and gifts. They brought two bags full of gifts for the kids: toys, books, colors, costumes, etc. Micah loved the Tigger costume and didn’t want to take it off. In fact, he wore it to site-see the following day and several people stopped to take his picture. After our meal, a piece of chocolate cake was brought out so we sang to Micah and he blew out his candle. After dinner this couple showered us with more gifts from the book store and the Apple store.

I Love how God uses the body to bless us in ways we would never have expected!!
Tell the kids hi - especially Ginny. Hannah keeps asking when she will get to see her again.
LOVE the Tigger outfit! Let us know if you are ever travelling through Mississippi!
