Loading cotton by the cart loads and the truck fulls.
One lady that I enjoy visiting makes cotton blankets on a loom.
Many women here crochet or embroider.
All the girls and boys are taught how to embroider in school as part of their art class.

This was cool to see. Jarud's family are (is?) cotton farmers, and they pack it up much differently. I love the embroidery bit. I taught my 5th graders to embroider when I used to teach that grade. It was a blast and even the boys loved it! Interesting post.
